When Justin Verlander gets a one-run cushion (you know, at the very least), the Houston Astros are typically in good shape.
As a result, Houston was looking really good when George Springer hit a solo shot in the third inning, giving the Astros the 1-0 lead.
With that said, the Los Angeles Dodgers have actually gotten to Verlander in the 2017 World Series, even if it has only been a few runs.
In Game 6, and if you can believe it, Los Angeles was able to score two runs on Houston’s ace. The first run can be seen above, and the second one below.
