Golf has been a strange place without Tiger Woods, but that strangeness is about to come to an end on Nov. 30.
Earlier today, Tiger announced he would be making his big return via Twitter:

The 2017 Hero World Challenge action begins on Nov. 30 and will last until Dec. 3.
Injuries have sidelined the 14-time major champion for quite some time now.
According to ESPN, “Woods hasn’t competed since withdrawing after the first round of the Dubai Desert Classic in February due to a lingering back injury. Less than two months later, he underwent a fourth career back surgery, which kept him sidelined for the remainder of the 2016-17 PGA Tour season.”
Tiger turns 42 on Dec. 30.
“I am excited to return to competitive golf at the Hero World Challenge,” Woods said. “Albany is the perfect setting and it will be great to join this outstanding field. I want to thank Pawan Munjal and Hero MotoCorp for their continued support of this tournament and my foundation. I would also like to thank the fans for their unwavering support during my injury.”
It remains to be seen how he will fair at the Hero World Challenge, but one thing is for sure: It’s going to be great to see Tiger back on the course.
