Jahmani Swanson, otherwise known as Mani Love @manilove102, never let his height deter his dreams of becoming a basketball player. He’s now a member of the Harlem Globetrotters and partnered with Class Act Sports on Thursday to spread his message to the youth.
Birch family services, a non-profit dedicated to empowering special needs youth and adults throughout their lives, took part in Reads 4 The Record along with Love. The book Love read had the message that it doesn’t matter what your abilities are, and that you can do anything you set your mind to. Love has become a world-famous basketball player as well as an advocate for fairness and equality for all, no matter of your disability.
