Kristaps Porzingis might be the most exciting young player in the NBA right now. The last half decade or so has seen a decline in the importance of big men in the league, but a resurgence of guys who can dominate on the block, shoot threes and also defend the paint is making the game even more fun to watch.
Kevin Durant called KP a “unicorn” way back in January of 2016, a nod to the fact that KP can handle the ball, shoot from anywhere on the court and block shots all the while being 7-foot-3. He is on his way to being a terror in this league and players are taking notice.
The above video shows KP signing a fan’s flag that is an ode to that Durant nickname, and it’s incredible.
