The Houston Astros and Los Angeles Dodgers have given fans as good a World Series as anyone could have expected. Drama, back and forth games, and tons of home runs have made this as watchable as baseball gets. The Astros went down 4-0 before a four-run fourth inning, then Cody Bellinger put the Dodgers back up by three in the top of the 5th. It was the AL MVP candidate Jose Altuve‘s turn in the bottom of the fifth and he tied things up with a bomb to left center.
This is the first World Series game ever to have three home runs of at least the three run variety. This is why playoff baseball is the absolute best. The game hinges on every single pitch. Altuve got the better of Kenta Maeda on this one.
