Today was supposed to be a rather calm one in college football as a result of top-25 teams taking on unranked opponents far and wide … but the Iowa State Cyclones had other plans.
Iowa State might have entered this fall Saturday as a major underdog against the Oklahoma Sooners (that’s quite the understatement), but none of that mattered as the Cyclones pulled off the big-time upset on the road.
Entering Week 6, the Sooners were one of the favorites to make the College Football Playoff, and that’s one of the reasons why we love this sport so much — because upsets tend to take over the scene on a weekly basis.
Nonetheless, Iowa State pulled off the upset thanks to the play above.
College football … don’t go changin’.
