16 Awesome Plays From Sunday’s NFL Action You Have to See

Apparently the NFL sent around a memo that there weren’t enough big plays happening, because Week 6 in the NFL was ripe with them. Special teams and defensive TDs are possibly the most exciting plays in football, and those make up more than half the plays in this article. This is what makes the NFL so special and keeps fans glued to their TV screens every Sunday.

The Jacksonville Jaguars allowed the Los Angeles Rams to return the opening kickoff for a touchdown, so Fournette had to make a big play of his own. This game started out on fire.

The Denver Broncos were picking on the All Pro corner all night. That’s when he decided enough was enough and made this huge play that broke open the score.

Antonio Brown Circus Catch For Long TD

Brown is gonna Brown. The all world wide receiver makes a ridiculous one-handed grab after it deflects off a defender’s helmet, then turns on the jets to outrun another defender into the end zone.

Adrian Peterson First TD of the Season

While not all that spectacular of a play itself, it’s nice to see Peterson get into the end zone. This was just the start of a game that saw him rack up 134 yards and two scores.

Jamal Agnew Punt Return TD

The Rams special teams came to play on Sunday. Not only did they block the punt, but they picked it up in a pile and drove the pile into the end zone. We call that determination.

Adrian Amos Pick-Six

If there ever was an audition to be playing offense or at least returning kicks, Amos made his case here. His first career interception turned into a touchdown thanks to several nifty moves in traffic.

Jones was on the verge of breaking out and he finally did so in a big way against the New Orleans Saints. He capped his big day off with this incredible one-handed touchdown catch with a defender draped all over him.

Marshon Lattimore Pick-Six

This was one of three defensive scores for the Saints on the day. Lattimore is proving to be a fantastic pick for New Orleans and is a big reason their defense has turned it around the past three weeks.

Golden Tate 45-Yard TD

Tate is one of the best in the NFL after the catch, and he proved that once again here by making several Saints defenders look pretty bad in route to a 45-yard catch and run.

Tarik Cohen TD Pass

The Bears have been breaking out everything in the playbook the past couple of weeks. Cohen got on the board with this nice dime to Zach Miller off a halfback pass.

Johnathan Joseph Pick-Six

The Houston Texans have lost Brian Cushing, Whitney Mercilus and J.J. Watt on defense this season. That hasn’t stopped them from dominating and they put points up with this nice Joseph pick-six.

Jordan Howard Beast Mode Run in OT
Source:Twitter

Howard made a critical mistake at the end of the fourth quarter when he ran out of bounds on third down instead of letting the clock run down. It gave the Baltimore Ravens a chance to win the game at the end of regulation. Lucky for him, that didn’t happen, and he was able to atone for his mistake with this incredible run that was shades of Beast Mode. It set up the winning field goal in overtime.

Michael Campanaro Punt Return TD
Source:Twitter

The Ravens mounted an incredible comeback, mostly because of their special teams. Down 24-16 in the fourth quarter, Campanaro took this one to the house and the Ravens converted the two-point conversion to tie the game and send it to overtime.
