Week 9 is flooding with big-stage games.

Things are about to get all kinds of wild in college football, for plenty of top-25ers are set to take the stage against one another in Week 9.

If you are planning on tuning into college football this weekend, then you would be doing yourself a huge favor by watching the five games below, especially the contest that features two Big Ten teams that are ranked in the top 10…

Thanks to quarterback Will Grier, the West Virginia Mountaineers have the offensive power to knock off any team in the country. While, yes, they do have two losses on the season, the Mountaineers are riding a two-game winning streak into Week 9, and those losses came against ranked opponents.

As for the Oklahoma State Cowboys, they also have a lethal quarterback in Mason Rudolph, and they have racked up three victories in a row. If they can pull off the victory this week, then they will continue to climb up the rankings, and will also have a shot at the College Football Playoff.

There are many big-stage games this week, but Penn State vs. Ohio State is getting the most hype. That tends to be the case when two top-10ers take the field against one another.

The Ohio State Buckeyes might have a blemish on their resume, which came in the form of a loss against the Oklahoma Sooners, but they can do wonders for their CFP resume by knocking off the undefeated Penn State Nittany Lions.

Penn State might be undefeated (and it also has serious Heisman contender Saquon Barkley), but this contest will be played at Ohio State.

If the Iowa State Cyclones knock off the TCU Horned Frogs, who are undefeated and ranked in the top five, then we might as well crown them Big 12 champs.

Before we get too far ahead of ourselves, it’s important to note that while Iowa State did knock off Oklahoma … it has two losses.

Given the fact that this ballgame will be played in Ames, this one should be interesting.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are coming off of a monster performance against the USC Trojans (Notre Dame won by the score of 49-14). Plus, the Fighting Irish’s lone loss came against the undefeated Georgia Bulldogs by one point.

Meanwhile, the NC State Wolfpack haven’t lost since the first game of the season, and they have also knocked off two ranked teams (at the time) in the process.

The contest between Georgia and the Florida Gators could have easily made the list (unfortunately, the Gators already have three losses), and the same thing goes for the clash between the Clemson Tigers and Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (among others), but UCLA Bruins vs. Washington Huskies is still one of the top matchups of the week.

We’ll give you two reasons why: (1) Josh Rosen. (2) Washington might have dropped its first game of 2017, but it can still make the playoff.
